Dark and light. Night and day. Apples and... anti-apples. I'm a firm believer in understanding both sides of the lines. So, while I enjoy TV that makes you think and pushes the limits, I also like to have at least one show I watch solely to have some time to let my brain relax. I still think they are good, but it's more about being entertained than thinking the show is actually good. I've had many shows like this over the years, but this is my current guilty pleasure.
It's unbelievably cheesy, the CG is atroooocious, the acting is occasionally (?) spotty, but I'll be danged if I don't end up entertained by it every week. It's just plain old fun, and I'm a sucker for fairy tale retellings. It's got some of the same writers and producers from
Lost, so I get a wee bit nervous that this will end up in the disappointing pile in a few years, but for now, I always tune in. I will always find you,
Once Upon a Time. Here are a few reasons why:

i miss you, sheriff graham... |
|
bloody pirate! |
|
Charming and his grandson |
It's also getting me to like Michael Raymond-James and forget his creepiness from
True Blood.
I don't think I have still forgiven them for Sheriff Graham. I think they are trying to make up for it with Captain Hook but how long is he going to last?
